Conception: There are a lot of different leadership theories. The most popular are about different styles of management and leadership, use of them in different situations. Though there is still no single ideal leader portrait…
What skills should be developed by those, who want to become leaders? Which theory to follow? We offer to discover, to recognize the leader inside yourself, create unique and unrepeatable leader, who doesn’t follow any pattern. This theory about authentic leader is based on the researches of Bill George and his work group*.
Authentic leaders are loyal to their goals, they don’t derogate from their values, follow their heart, not only their mind. They develop stable relationship with people, move forward their goals and reach them. The main task is to know who you are.
* After Bill George had published his book “Authentic Leadership Rediscovering the Secrets to Creating Lasting Value”, he and another three researchers Andrew N.McLean, Diana Mayer, Peter Sims conducted another research – they interviewed more than 100 world level leaders. In the result they discovered that success is not connected with special leader traits, abilities or management styles. The key to success is the uniqueness of the leader, difference from others. The main finding was about what creates a leader: experience gained in different life situations, in process of self cognition, staying loyal to the values, understanding own motivation, creating support group and reaching balance in life. Those conclusions are taken as a basis for creating a training programme.
The training offer:
- Chance to see own leader potential and unique leader traits;
- Chance to see the qualities, which are able to infatuate others;
- Chance to develop oneself as a unique, authentic leader;
- Better self – understanding of own values;
- Knowledge about self- development methods that suits the best.
Participants: Experienced managers, young managers, project managers, owners of small and middle- sized enterprises.
Process and organization:
- Total 4 training days (meeting 2 times by month);
- 2 individual coaching sessions with the goal to define needed leader competences development plan, start active work for implementation;
- Duration of each training – 3h (1,5 h + 1,5 h);
- Homework needed to be done between trainings;
- Not more than 10 participants in one group.
Training methods: Short mini lectures, practical tasks (individual, in pairs, small groups), homework.
Training fee: 50 Lvl + VAT for each training session (300 Lvl + VAT for all programme). Coaching sessions
